FotoDoks 2012 edition presents a four day workshop led by VII photographers Stefano De Luigi, Christopher Morris, Franco Pagetti and Anastasia Taylor Lind.

Selected candidates will have the opportunity to attend an intensive course, discuss their work, and develop their photographic skills under the mentorship of some of the greatest experts in the field.

Each photographer’s class will include a presentation of the teacher’s work, portfolio reviews by the teacher, editing sessions and the shooting of a brand-new photographic project that will be developed during the course.

Classes will be held in English (with German translators if necessary). Participation in the workshop includes free FotoDoks festival passes. Courses will culminate in a final projection of students work.

The workshop theme is, “The Identity of a European Town,” focused on the city of Munich but with a broad perception of the concept of ‘city’.

The four VII photographers will propose to candidates four different approaches to investigate the same subject.
